Sunday Jam
The 45 Sunday Jam, which by now is a legendary concept, has been rolling every week since 1990. The Sunday Jam is the most well-known jamming event in the country, and it is not a rare occasion that some of Finland's most popular and esteemed musicians are seen on the 45 Special downstairs stage. The hosts of the Sunday Jam sessions are Jussi Kallio and Maukka Jesiöjärvi.
A house band starts at 11 pm and the jamming begins right after the gig. The entrance to the Sunday Jam is free of charge and the age limit is 19.
If you have a capable band and some experience in performing live, come and play at our Sunday Jam. The house band is offered reasonable compensation for their performance and the lending of hardware. For every jam session, we need a drum kit, a bass amplifier and two guitar amps. Other jamming instruments are courtesy of 45 Special.
If you want to come and play as the house band, send an e-mail to . Tell us about your band and your home page address along with information on where to listen to your material. We read every e-mail sent to us.
